Stella is my 12.5 year old Pom/Chihuahua mix who had terrible teeth and a grade 4 heart murmur. Before, during, and after the procedure to extract all of her teeth, I was blown away by how Dr. Jodi, Jennifer, and Javier meticulously made sure Stella was okay throughout the whole process. Stella and I feel blessed to have found these angels and are so thankful for Dr. Jodi and the VDCA crew!
I recently took my dog Sunny to the Veterinary Dental Center of Atlanta for a dental procedure, and I was thoroughly impressed with the incredibly friendly and capable staff. Dr. Wood was amazing, very experienced, and communicated with me every step of the way during Sunny’s procedure and with follow-up post-surgery. Nicole was also wonderful and so patient and it was a great experience.

Dr. Wood was excellent in explaining Buster’s condition and treatment plan, and the staff kept me updated throughout the procedure. If your pet is having serious dental issues, this is the place you want to be. We met with Dr. Lariviere in a very comfortable and roomy consultation/waiting room. She read everything our vet sent so she had a great understanding what Sterling’s condition was without having preconceived plans on exactly what she was going to do. We spoke with her for about 20 minutes where both sides asked questions and never felt like Dr. Lariviere was in a hurry. Sterling was then examined under sedation and in a reasonable amount of time we were told that his condition was not as serious as we thought, what the plan was (partial extraction as opposed to full extraction). Surgery was performed and were were on our way home with Sterling before lunchtime. Veterinary Dental Center of Atlanta surpassed all of our expectations.
The Veterinary Dental Center of Atlanta is inviting and relaxing. We loved the open and private spaces. It is not so common anymore to have a human answer the phone when you call that can just provide an update as to how our dog is doing. We loved how quickly the staff (including Dr. Wood) responded to emails and calls. You can count us as another referral source. The Veterinary Dental Center of Atlanta is amazing!

Javier’s constant communication, translating technical terms into Spanish, was incredibly helpful. Throughout the process, they stood by my side. Veterinary Dental Center of Atlanta is a very nice, clean office with a calming environment. I love that the waiting areas are like a living room in a home. Everyone is very professional and cared about Casper’s well-being. The level of communication by the entire staff giving updates while Casper was there for his procedure was beyond expectations.
